Reminders

Saturday, 15 January 2000, is the deadline for applications for the 26 June 2000 ABHP certification examination. Candidates and mentors need to ensure that application materials are all postmarked by this deadline to ensure consideration for the 2000 exam cycle.

Saturday, 29 January 2000, (less than a month from now!) the Academy will again sponsor two continuing education short courses immediately prior to the midyear Health Physics Society (HPS) meeting. This year's topics are "Internal Dosimetry" taught by Dick Toohey and "Orphan Sources" by James Yusko and Joel Lubenau. Registration information was included in the HPS Newsletter insert with the October edition and has also been available online at the HPS Web site (www.hps.org).
